The London Business School, located in Regent Park, was founded in 1964 with the vision to have a profound impact on the way the world does business. Despite being far younger to its counterparts, LBS has risen rapidly through b-school rankings - it goes neck-to-neck with INSEAD for the best European MBA program, and its MiM offering was ranked 2nd globally (QS 2021). Given the distinctive prestige, strong employment outcomes, powerful alumni network (46k+ in 150+ countries) and unmatched location, the LBS MiM is a dream program for most Indian undergraduates.
LBS offers the MiM in 3 formats - the 12-month MiM, the 16-month MiM, and the 24-month Global MiM (LBS MiM + Masters in International Business from Fudan School of Management in Shanghai). The 16-month track gives candidates the flexibility to extend their degree by pursuing a summer internship, taking more electives or going on an international exchange.
LBS prides itself on being truly international - of the 298 candidates in the MiM class of 2021, 95% were international students, representing 46 nationalities. Women made up 43% of the class, with 11% of the students hailing from South Asia (mostly India). Over a third of the class had business/management as their undergraduate study discipline.

The international mobility created by employment opportunities is a huge selling point for LBS. While only 5% of the incoming class was from the UK, 50% took up jobs in the UK post their degree. These numbers will only get better - under the new visa regime in the UK, students who complete a year-long Master’s program at a recognized UK university are guaranteed a 2-year work visa.
The mean salary (base) for the program is slightly over GBP 42k, with 41% of MiM graduates heading into consulting, 29% into finance, and the rest evenly split between technology and diversified services.

As a part of the course, LBS offers an online preparatory pre-program to ensure candidates maximize their learning. With an integrated core that spans across all major business domains and a rich bouquet of electives to choose from, the academic experience at LBS is rigorous but rewarding. All students must complete 2 integrated modules, which involve interdisciplinary real-world applications of learnings from the integrated core. Through the LondonLAB, students have an opportunity to work on a live business problem in London for 8-10 weeks. Faculty members often lead Global Immersion Field Trips for students, which are focussed on addressing complex business and social problems across the world. Students can utilise dedicated skills programs to boost their employability, and can also avail of the personal development program.
